Regulations

The original regulations were updated by further regulations in the lead up to the event as follows. Again, thank you to Ann Mulholland for these:

• Clause 8: The official briefing was moved to and occurred at the Melbourne Showgrounds at 8 pm on Saturday August 4th.
• Clause 11.5: This was refined to refer to the division breaks and Albury where the starting order was determined based on classifications.
• Clause 23.2: The organisers also reserved the roof for advertising material.
• Clause 24.3: Vehicles were not impounded after scrutineering but were required to be checked into the Melbourne Showgrounds by 7 pm on Saturday August 4th and were held in parc ferme until the start.
• Clause 26.3 and Clause 40: These were updated to reflect the actual route, in particular the Alice Springs rest break moved to Darwin and the Brisbane rest break to Townsville.
• Clause 34.4: This was clarified such that vehicles could be worked on whilst "in control" during a rest break other than the division breaks.
• Clause 38: This was clarified in regards to the classification of crews that had missed controls.
• Clause 39: This was clarified to indicate that official results would be posted at 2 pm on Sunday August 19th with protests then limited to one hour thereafter.
